Pastor Carl Lentz seems to be excusing himself from preaching righteousness.  In so many words, he reveals who Jesus really was, when he walked the earth, one who did not get involved in sinful issues.  Really?  Let us remind you of the following scriptures at the end of this post.  You certainly cannot separate the Father from Jesus Christ, the Son of God.  Therefore, what God said in His commandments is Jesus talking. 

According to ChristianPost.com, Lentz explained, "Very rarely did Jesus ever talk about morality or social issues. He was about the deeper things of the heart. Often people want to talk about behavior modification, and our church isn't about that. … We're about soul transformation. You start talking about some of the symptomatic stuff, that's not what we're about. We're about talking to people about their heart and the condition of their soul, and some of that stuff out-works itself. But we're not trying to change anybody because we can't." 

We feel very sorry for Pastor Carl Lentz, because when he stands before Christ, he may not hear him say well done, my faithful servant, ' instead he will face eternal damnation for allegedly lying on God. 

•  1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." 

• Leviticus 18:22 - "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable." 

• Leviticus 20:13 - "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads." 

• Romans 1:26-27 - "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."
