The ACLU is suing catholic bishops, after a woman, Tamesha Means suffered a miscarriage, after 18 weeks of pregnancy. Therefore, they allegedly feel if she would have had an abortion, she wouldn't have had to suffer so much. We don't know which is worse a miscarriage or an abortion, they both cause emotionally pain to the mother.
According to ChristianPost.com, the USCCB is being sued because, according to the suit, its directives prevented Means from getting an abortion, and thus the bishops are responsible for "unnecessary trauma and harm."
In the meantime, we will keep Tamesha Means in our prayers.
