Another Pastor Commits Suicide Self Following Death of his Wife

This is very sad that this Illinois pastor killed himself, after his wife died of a brain aneurysm. Allegedly Pastor Ed Montgomery of Full Gospel Christian Church could no longer deal with his wife's death. He allegedly told his family he was hearing her footsteps, then shot himself in front of them. Usually, whenever there is a series of tragedies within the church, there is a great awakening and we know there is a reason for all of these shocking stories, only God knows.

According to BlackChristianNews.com, a senior official with the Village of Matteson Police Department, who said he would not go on record out of respect for the family, confirmed with The Christian Post on Thursday that pastor Ed Montgomery died in what "appears to have been a suicide" on Saturday. It could not be officially concluded, however, until after lab tests are complete.

May Pastor Ed Montgomery and his beloved wife, Prophetess Jackie Montgomery rest in peace. We are praying for the Montgomery family and the church members.
