Pastor Elmer Holbrooks has been arrested for allegedly hitting a woman on church grounds.  Now, although we don't know all the details or what would possess Holbrooks to hit this lady, it's a shame he did not respect God enough to refrain from violence.  You see, he may be the pastor, but the church belongs to God. 

According to jacksonville.com, the unidentified victim told deputies she was driving the tractor at the church when Holbrooks climbed on it and slapped her in the head and an arm, according to the arrest report. Holbrooks also tried to fight the woman’s husband, according to the report.  

In the meantime, we pray Pastor Elmer Holbrooks repents and apologizes to this woman and his congregation for his violent behavior.

Nassau pastor arrested, accused of hitting woman on church property in Callahan

The 56-year-old pastor of The Anchor Church in Callahan was arrested Dec. 9 on a charge of battery after a woman said she was hit because of the way she drove a tractor at the church at 541798 S. U.S. 1, according to the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office.
