COGIC Pastor Arrested for Molesting Teen Relative

This Memphis COGIC pastor, Michael Bryant is accused of molesting his own relative who is a 16-year-old girl. What's so sad about this case, is that the mother allegedly had known about him molesting her daughter for about a year. Another sad thing, the denomination has several allegations for many years and it seems like the clergy members ignore the victims and mistreat them as outcasts.

According to myfoxmemphis.com, Bryant is the pastor of the Hour of Restoration COGIC, located in a strip mall that next to a day care center.

In the meantime, we will keep this teen girl in our prayers, but also, we pray that Michael Bryant repents for it's everlasting too late, along with the other some clergy members within COGIC who refuse to deal with this problem that is nothing new.

SCSO arrests COGIC pastor on sexual battery warrant

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) -Michael Bryant, a Church of God In Christ pastor in Memphis, was arrested Wednesday morning by a Shelby County Sheriff's fugitive sex crimes task force. He was wanted on a warrant charge of sexual battery by an authority figure.
