Do you recall the episode on 'Preachers of LA' when Deitrick Haddon allegedly corrected Bishop Clarence McClendon?  Haddon pointed out that armour bearers (McClendon's entourage) are not needed in ministry and he was right.  Now, just read about this prominent Florida pastor, H.B. Charles Jr. who points out armor bearer is not biblical. 

According to ChristPost.com, some Biblical passages referenced in laying out the role of an armor bearer, usually the person tasked with carrying weapons for a commander, include Judges 9:54, 1 Samuel 16:12, 2 Samuel 18:15, among other verses. But these Old Testament passages, says Charles, have no bearing on New Testament church administration.  

We are so very glad Pastor Charles pointed this out, because too many pastors think they need armor bearers and if it's not biblical, they should get rid of them.  It's time they learn to let God and His angels be their armor bearer.

What we don't understand is this, why would Bishop Noel Jones even think about "Preachers of LA" being the cause of his sickness when he made a decision to go on there?  It just does not make sense to blame the reality show that has pulled his personal skeletons out of the closet of not being married to Loretta for 16 years.  

The reality show is not the blame, it just time Bishop Jones, along with other preachers whom allegedly live double lives to get it right and stop playing with God. 

According to BlackChristianNews.com, Jones, 63, is not about to follow his doctor's orders, for whatever reason. "They want me to be in the bed," he revealed. 

In the meantime we will keep Bishop Noel Jones in our prayers, but it's very wrong for him to even think about blaming anything or anyone else for his sickness.
