Former Youth Pastor Richard Shahan appears before Jefferson County Judge

It's very sad that this youth pastor is accused of murdering his wife, Karen.  If you watch the following video, you would never think he would harm anyone, the way he was ministering to those innocent little children.  However, now he has appeared before a judge, after being arrested and caught trying to leave the country. 

According to alabamas13.com , on July 23 of last year, Shahan's wife, Karen Shahan, was found dead in the couple's home on Hugh Circle in Homewood.  Two weeks later, Richard Shahan was brought in for questioning by the Homewood police, but was later released.  In the meantime, we pray he has repented and confessed his sin to the Lord.  However, his attorney allegedly says he's innocent.
