Pastor Andrew Hamblin was previously arrested for having snakes at his church has been exonerated by a grand jury in Tennessee.  As we pointed out in a previous article, there have been various ministers throughout history who believe it is a gift from God to handle snakes; Jim Jones of The Peoples Temple was one of them. 

According to ChristianPost.com, pastors like Hamblin argue that their practices are in line with what the Bible says, as Mark 16: 17-18 reads, "And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover." 

 May God bless Pastor Hamblin and we pray he's very careful handling those snakes.
