Bishop TD Jakes says There Are More People in Theaters on Friday Than in Pews on Sunday

Posted by abohan Minggu, 27 Oktober 2013 0 komentar

Bishop T. D. Jakes gives an important reason for using the media to preach God's Word.  Allegedly, he says more people are in the theaters on Friday than in the pews on Sundays.  We can agree with him, although it's been that way for a longtime.  Christian television has been around for many years, since the late 60's and early 70's.  If people love God enough, they will seek him.

According to BlackChristianNews.com, Jakes says, "The great commission calls Christians to go into the world and spread the Good News, we can use television, we can use books, but there are more people in the theaters on Friday nights than the pews on Sunday morning."

Yes, it's very important for us to use the media to preach God's Word, but it is also very important that Americans and people in foreign countries continue to attend church every Sunday and through the week.

Posted by abohan Sabtu, 26 Oktober 2013 0 komentar

On the Yolanda Adams radio talk show, Adams interviews Bishop Paul Morton.  Bishop Morton talks about stepping down from the organization he founded, Full Gospel Baptist Fellowship.  It's very interesting that he voluntarily resigned, because we do not hear of it too often, especially when one is asked to stepped down, after violating God's Kingdom.  However, we know Bishop Paul Morton to be such a holy man of God and possibly, he knew his timing came to an end to oversee his anointed spirit-filled Christian organization.

So many times Bishop T. D. Jakes has visited Kenya, possibly he offended those citizens over there, on foreign land.  However, Bishop Jakes has now apologized and admits he was wrong for saying Kenya is a poor state.  It takes a great man to admit when he's wrong and Bishop Jakes is very humble for doing so.

According to BlackChristianNews.com, Jakes explained in a written apology that his remarks were aimed to relinquish claims that preachers are extravagant and live off money from the church.

In the meantime, we will keep Bishop T. D. Jakes in our prayers.

preachers of la

Urban Faith | Alisha L. Gordon is a writer: The series trailer features small vignettes of the clergy interacting with parishioners in church, ministering on the streets of Los Angeles, and even making appearances in nightclubs. The pastors can be seen standing next to brand-new Bentleys, Ferraris, and wearing custom suits while what sounds like an instrumental of Atlanta rapper Ca$h Out's song "Cashin' Out" plays in the background. Interesting.

Bishop Noel Jones Hopes 'Preachers of LA' Brings Nonreligious Viewers to God: Does he agree with affirming homosexuality?

Posted by abohan Selasa, 08 Oktober 2013 0 komentar

It's one thing to yearn to bring sinners to Jesus Christ through the reality show, 'Preachers of LA', but it's another thing to want to allegedly cater to homosexuals in the church.  Now, Bishop Noel Jones allegedly makes the excuse of wanting to allow homosexuals to serve in the church in general on his older brother who allegedly is gay, possibly and partially because of their father's neglect.  Isn't it so true, you can't bring sinners to Christ unless you disagree with their sin?  What are sinners getting saved from, when you pamper them and not preach against their sin?

Bishop Noel Jones says we should embrace people from all different walks of life on the 2nd video, but one of the things we notices, he does not make it clear not to embrace the sin.   Why is that?  In our opinion, Bishop Noel Jones response seems really twisted.

Another question, would you classify Bishop Noel Jones as a gay affirming minister?

Bishop Paul Morton preaches about silence in the church against Same Sex Marriage

Posted by abohan Jumat, 27 September 2013 0 komentar

You really need to watch this video of Bishop Paul Morton Preaching his sermon, 'Rebuilding With the Right Stuff.'   He really tells the (black) church we need to go back to enforcing deliverance ministry without fear or shame.   He even points out we can't even get a coalition of preachers to combat same sex marriage, but the gay community has come together to win more states to win their vote in support for gay marriage.

Just like Pastor Patrick Wooden allegedly said, when they pass rights for same sex marriage, we are going to hear of more groups fighting to get their right, regardless if it's wrong, which is the same thing Bishop Morton allegedly states on this following video.

Bishop Morton also points out that many pastors forewarn congregants about paying tithes, but they won't denounce same sex marriage.  Many want to be motivational preachers, but do not want to preach what they Bible says.

God really is going to bless Bishop Paul Morton, because he's not afraid to stand up for what's right unlike many preachers within the black church today.
