Allegedly, Pastor Mark Driscoll says President Obama's questionable faith is a sign our days are getting darker as Christians.  However, we believe President Obama does not have the power to define our future days in the world of Christianity.  Faith says God is our president and are days will get better, if we believe it.

According to ChristianPost.com, in the section of the first chapter (Christendom is Dead) subtitled, "One Nation, Under God?" Driscoll points out that one notable omission on the inauguration stage was Pastor Giglio, who was scheduled to give the inaugural prayer at the 2013 ceremony and then withdrew, while some say he was pressured to do so by the Inauguration Committee.

Of course, we comprehend what Pastor Mark Driscoll is saying, but we can no longer afford to go by what we see and hear.  It is time to look to God as our president and no longer pay attention to what President Obama believes as a Christian or a Muslim, because the fact remains, he will be out of the White House in 2016.  Hopefully, he won't seek a third term like President Franklin Roosevelt and if he does, many Christians should be wise not to vote for him.

Seattle megachurch pastor Mark Driscoll takes a serious swipe at Barack Obama in his soon to be released book, A Call to Resurgence: Will Christianity Have a Funeral or a Future? by pointing to the president's questionable spirituality and often weak embrace of evangelicals as an indicator that born-again "Christians' days are getting darker."

"On January 21, 2013, Barack Obama placed his hand on a Bible he may not entirely believe to take an oath to a God he may not entirely know," writes Driscoll, as read in chapter...Read full article, here.

We wish there were more bold pastors like Mark Driscoll who's just made a bold statement by driving to a church service in a hearse.   He makes the point about how weak Christianity is in America these days.  Pastor Mark Driscoll ask an important question, 'Will Christianity have a Funeral or a Future?'  Doesn't it seem like Christianity has died in this country to some degree?

According to ChristianPost.com, Pastor Driscoll's book A Call to Resurgence: Will Christianity Have a Funeral or a Future? is planned for release on Nov. 5 and focuses on the need for Christians to be aware of changing times and the importance of sharing the Gospel despite a corrupting culture. Resurgence 2013, a leadership conference, is scheduled to begin on the same date.

We look forward to reading Pastor Driscoll's new book and we know it will make an impact among our brothers and sisters in Christ.
