Atheist Tries Giving $3K to Food Pantry After Library, Park District Reject Donation

Thank God, we still live in a country where some people have the fear of God.  This atheist, Hemant Mehta who is well known on You Tube tried to donate some money to a food pantry, but they rejected it.  If this guy rejects God, how can he expect not to be rejected by people who may believe in Him? 

According to ChristianPost.com , Hemant Mehta, a Naperville-area teacher and blogger behind the well-known website "Friendly Atheist," said in a recent YouTube video that after his donation was rejected by both the park district and library, he's hoping the food pantry will accept the money and put an end to this saga of rejected donations.  

In the meantime, we will keep Hemant in our prayers and sincerely hope he accept Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.

A&E Reverses Decision on the Suspension of Phil Robertson, Duck Dynasty Continues

Saints of God, this indeed proves that if we as Christians unite and not backed down, we can win this war against gay marriage in our country.  It does not matter if our president agrees with it, we have a voice and we have the right not to agree with sin against God's Word.   Let's put race aside, because each and every time a white person may word something wrong, it's a trick of the enemy for us to stand with homosexuals.

According to BlackChristianNews.com , the interview sparked protests from human-rights groups, and led to A&E's quick decision to suspend Robertson from future episodes. But that action also triggered a backlash from some Dynasty fans, who tried to organize a boycott of the network -- and Robertson's own family, which suggested it would not be willing to keep filming the series without him.  

God bless Phil Robertson and thank God this is not just a victory for his show, but for the entire body of Christ.  This is our country and we have the right to speak what God says and He says homosexuality is a sin.

38 Dead After Bombings Strike Christians in Iraq on Christmas Day

This is very sad news, as you know many rebels hate Christians in Iraq, but we never expect for them to kill on the celebration of Christ's birth.  Thirty-eight people are dead after there were bombings that took their lives on Christmas Day. 

According to Christian Post, the attacks will likely only incite more anxiety in Iraq's waning Christian population, which has long been targeted by extremists following the U.S. invasion of the country and the toppling of Saddam Hussein. The population has dwindled down to less than 500,000 from 1.4 million in 2003.  

May all of the victims rest in peace, we know they are in a much better place, because they died for Jesus Christ.

Celebrity News: Cracker Barrel Apologizes and Returns Duck Dynasty Items to Stores After Christians Protest

The popular restaurant who has been allegedly known for racial discrimination has apologized for removing 'Duck Dynasty' products from it's stores.  After Christians threatened to protests, they made a statement, apologizing for offending so many people who were angry about them getting rid of the items. 

According to ChristianPost.com, Cracker Barrel stated in a post, "When we made the decision to remove and evaluate certain Duck Dynasty items, we offended many of our loyal customers. Our intent was to avoid offending, but that's just what we've done."  

Well SCR readers, it looks like we as Christians have power and should not give into the homosexual agenda.

Megachurch Pastor Robert Jeffress talks about Satan's agenda against Christmas

In so many words, Pastor Robert Jeffress of First Baptist Church in Dallas admitted how many people in high positions fight against Christmas.  Allegedly, he even mentioned pastors opposing Christmas, which is very demonic.   Pastor Jeffress is telling the truth, because in the book of Revelations, the Bible did say Satan would be the head of certain churches. 

According to ChristianPost.com, in a recent interview with Fox News' Bill O'Reilly, Jeffress maintains that the war on Christians is real and anyone who says it isn't is either being very "naïve" or "intentionally deceptive."

Gay Organization requests A&E to End 'Duck Dynasty' After Phil Robertson Calls Homosexuality a Sin

A popular gay organization requests for A&E to no longer air 'Duck Dynasty', because Phil Robertston has publicly admitted homosexuality is a sin.   Wow, what type of day are we living in?  You mean, Christians cannot quote the Word of God, which opposes homosexuality?  When we witness fatal tragedies, many of you wonder why?  Part of the reason is because of some people who rebel against God's commandments. 

According to ChristianPost.com, while speaking with GQ reporter Drew Magary on the extensive Robertson property in West Monroe, La., the patriarch of the Robertson clan provided a very candid and descript account of what he and the Robertson family, as evangelical Christians, are all about. 

 Hopefully, Phil Robertson will not back down, regardless of threats from this gay organization, because these following scriptures are accurate and you cannot argue with the Word of God.  In the meantime, we will keep Phil Robertston in our prayers and pray that 'Duck Dynasty' remains on A&E.

California Judge Orders a Cross on Mountain Near San Diego Be Removed

Saints of God, we are living in an evil era.  In previous times, there was inequality and whites and African Americans were in combat on the issue.  Now, although there is racial discrimination to a certain degree, it is not nearly as bad as our rights as Christians being taken away in this country.  Recently, a California judge has ordered that a cross on a mountain near San Diego be removed. 

According to BlackChristianNews.com, Burns ordered that the cross would have to be removed within 90 days. But the cross may be able to stay if the case is appealed, the judge ordered.  

How can this judge and others who rule against our religious freedom expect tragedies to stop in our country?  Things will never be right in America, not unless God is honored and respected.

Celebrity News: Rapper Drake Helped Portland Faith-Based Homeless Rescue Mission

Not too often do we hear of rappers helping out anything that has to do with Christianity, except if they call themselves Christian rappers.   Drake is probably doing much more than these hip hop gospel artists and christian rappers.  He's donated funds to a rescue mission in Portland Oregon.
According to ChristianPost.com, on any given night, more than 3,000 homeless people can be seen posted throughout Portland's city streets, and to help them the organization is in need of donations to continue assisting them through temporary care, as well as addiction recovery and spiritual support.
May God bless Drake for his consideration, we are sure the head of this rescue mission certainly appreciates him.

Former Pastor Isaac Hunter, Son of Megachurch Pastor Joel Hunter, Commits Suicide

Now, before the next pastor or minister thinks about following the trail to commit suicide, let us assure you, God may not excuse you just because you did not want to deal with life.  We believe every case is different. For example, the first case we heard about, the late Teddy Parker, Jr. could be excused because he was allegedly manic depressive (bi-polar), and allegedly didn't take his medication.   Now, this is the third case, Pastor Isaac Hunter, son of Megachurch pastor commits suicide.  Why?  Allegedly, he wrote in a suicide letter he did not want to be a burden.

According to BlackChristianNews.com, officials of Northland, a Church Distributed, said they are still awaiting the police report on Isaac Hunter's death, but the church confirmed his death in a statement posted on the Northland website.

We are praying for the Hunter family and may God have mercy on Pastor Isaac Hunter's soul.

China is Still arresting Christians for their Faith

Many of you Christians who still say it's a blessing to be in America, land of the free, need to take heed to this post.  We are not too far from being like China, because we are constantly persecuted for believing in Jesus Christ and following His commandments. Pastor Zhang Shaojie was tied up, right in his church and taken away by authorities.  It's been three weeks and no one knows where he is. 

According to Charismanews.com , the pastor's arrest sparked an immediate outcry from family and church members, who proceeded to gather in front of the local police station in protest. According to ChinaAid, a religious rights group based in Texas, authorities reportedly threatened the group of protestors, striking some members and "causing Pastor Zhang's [elderly] parents [to be hospitalized] for high blood pressure." Two of the pastor's sisters, present at the protest, were also taken into custody. 

In the meantime, we will keep Pastor Zhang Shaojie and other Christians in China in our prayers.

NY Satanists Seeks Monument Next to Ten Commandments Display in Oklahoma

Allegedly, a Satanist group in New York want a statue next to the display of the Ten Commandments in Oklahoma.  We thought we would cut the horns off of the above photo, the news made us so mad.   However, saints of God, let us begin praying and making sure our christian politicians block this group from trying to compete with God. 

According to ChristianPost.com, Greaves also told officials that the reason he should be able to build a monument to Satan in Oklahoma City is because of the Ten Commandments display, privately funded by State Rep. Mike Ritze, being allowed.  

In the meantime, let us not just pray, but do whatever we can to block satanists from taking over this country.  Furthermore, Satan has an agenda for his followers, but we as followers of Christ also have an agenda to make God's land to only glorify Him.  So, if we have to take over by governing this country ourselves, let's do it.

Rick Warren allegedly told Piers Morgan he fears disapproval of God on subject of homosexuality

We never knew Rick Warren's viewpoint, regarding the Bible and homosexuality, but on this following video, he makes it very clear he sides with God's commandments.  Allegedly, he says he does not see himself or some other pastors accepting gay marriage as equality.  Also, we understood him to allegedly say he fears disapproval of God more than Piers Morgan or people in society.  Well, we want to tell you, we are very happy Rick Warren is truly in the army of God and has no fear to publicly denounce homosexuality, gay marriage.

Ed Stetzer says Just Because Your Church Looks Diverse Doesn't Mean it is Diverse

Now, this is the first time, we have heard of Ed Stetzer, but he's sure is telling the truth about diversity in many of today's multi-cultural churches.   Let us be honest with you, if we are not diverse in spirit by now, then we must leave it in God's hands.  For this reason, there are many people of all races who are hypocritical when they are around other races.

According to BlackChristianNews.com, Ed Stetzer says: 'my church today would not fit the standard definition of multicultural. It's not because that's not the desire for us to be so. But more, it is impacted by the location where we meet (Hendersonville is 93% Anglo). However, having just recently opened a campus in Gallatin, which is substantially more diverse than Hendersonville, we are excited about the opportunity to seek to become a more multicultural church.'

It's time out for begging people to be diverse, if that is not how many people really feel in spirit.  It's time for all races to seek God and fully commit to Him, then allow God to work with them.

Celebrity News: 'The Voice' Fans Angered After 'Lord' Not Included in Performance: Shocked?

Of course, it's very wonderful to hear whenever people are angry over the name, "Lord", "God" and "Jesus Christ" not being mentioned in a song or any type of performance.  However, we are dealing with a worldly show.   In our opinion, producers of "The Voice" or "American Idol" are not saved, so we as Christian need to stop watching and supporting such shows. 

According to ChristianPost.com, the song was performed by the season's top eight contestants backed by the Starbucks Chorus, a Seattle-based, philanthropic singing group. In the song's chorus, the word "Oh" was sung in place of the commonly used "Lord." 

In the meantime, why don't you pray about what type of television shows, you have been supporting.  Is "The Voice" one of them?  Or is it "American Idol" or some other type of worldly show?  Let us no longer waste or time being shocked or getting upset whenever the Lord's name is not being mentioned, because it is to be expected.  Most of these people who produce the show, do not love God nor His Son Jesus Christ.   Don't you recall the story about the professor in Florida who had his students write down the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ and stomp on it?   We are dealing with the world and we might as well face it, we need to stop supporting people in the entertainment business and even our educational institutions, if our God is no longer respected or accepted.

Oklahoma City Pastors to Hold Prayer Gathering Outside Homosexual Play

There's a new play about turning biblical characters into homosexuals, allegedly.  A group of pastors are holding a prayer vigil.  However, as these type of controversial performances go on, we wonder if prayer vigils are enough?  It all goes back to politics, whoever is in office seems to rule our American society.  Therefore, if we had more Christians taking over our government, we would have more power. 

According to ChristianNews.net, pastors throughout Oklahoma City have expressed outrage over the production as it depicts God creating Adam and Steve, as well as lesbians Jane and Mabel, as the first humans. A number of sex acts are stated to be depicted during the show as well.  

In the meantime, we will continue to pray with these pastors, but we need to move up a step higher and that's ruling America.

Ed Young and Family to Star in Reality Show

Of course, it does not surprise us that Ed Young and his family will be having their own reality show.  Too many Christian have become followers and when they see others becoming popular, then they want to do it.  It's sort of like hip hop gospel, Christian rock, gay marriage and the prosperity gospel, whatever the majority does, do not be surprise who follows.  Too many grown people are like little kids, although it should be different in the body of Christ. 

Too many Christians are puppets and make hasty decisions to be popular, not to please God.  While more of these pastors, first ladies and gospel artists are becoming stars of their own reality shows, too many souls are dying lost.

According to ChristianPost.com, Young revealed that although his family has been "approached repeatedly over the years to do a show," this was the first time they have felt at ease about moving forward, thanks to the unnamed Los Angeles producer who has so far pitched the idea to A&E Television.

Assemblies of God and Church of God in Christ Leaders Unite to Heal

We must say, it's about time we hear of two popular christian denominations uniting after all these years, COGIC and Assemblies of God.  We feel like we can hear God asking, 'just when are the two organizations going to unite and make peace?'  Now both are making God very happy.

According to BlackChristianNews.com, Dr. George O. Wood, general superintendent of the Assemblies of God, expressed his great pleasure in the COGIC acceptance of the invitation. He also warmly welcomed the executive leadership as well as local COGIC leaders and members to the Tuesday chapel service held at the national office each week.

In the meantime, we will keep both christian organizations in our prayers.  We are very happy that the leaders of the Assemblies of God and Church of God in Christ are coming together to heal.

Paul Crouch, Founder of Trinity Broadcasting Network Passed Away at 79

As many of you already know, the founder of TBN, Paul Crouch had been sick for a longtime.  Now, he has passed away to his reward.  Paul and Jan Crouch began the Christian Television Network to win millions of souls to Christ.  For many years, famous pastors and televangelists would help raise money in order for TBN to remain on the air.  He, along with his with persevered until he died. 

According to LATimes.com, the controversial pioneer of televangelism, whose broadcast empire was called "one of evangelicalism's most successful and far-reaching media enterprises" by the Encyclopedia of Evangelicalism, died Saturday, said his grandson, Brandon Crouch. He was 79.

Texas' Attorney General Greg Abbott Vows to Defend Gay Marriage Ban

Although, two gay couples are allegedly filing a lawsuit, Texas Attorney General vows he will defend the ban against gay marriage.  Saints of God, every time we get a strong man or woman of God in any career who speaks out against gay marriage, we ought to praise God for it.  We are living an an era when many pastors are afraid to oppose gay marriage, regardless of scriptures against homosexuality.  Therefore, there are very few like Abbott who publicly denounce gay marriage. 

According to ChristianPost.com, the two couples, Cleopatra De Leon and Nicole Dimetman of Austin and Victor Holmes and Mark Phariss of Plano, are seeking an injunction to halt the state law banning same-sex marriage.   

This is how each of you who claim to love God should be, no matter how many lawsuits, you will make a vow to stand up for what's right.  In the meantime, we will keep Attorney General Greg Abbott in our prayers.
