Baltimore’s Bishop L. Robinson, Laid To Rest

The first African American police commissioner of Baltimore has been laid to rest.  Bishop L. Robinson had a beautiful home-going ceremony at Coppin State University.  He will be remembered for his dedication to the police force and many people within the city and state will miss him.

Celebrity News: Arkansas State Football Player, Markel Owens, and his Stepfather Shot Dead by Robbers

Saints of God, this story is a very sad one, Markel Owens, a football player for the Red Wolves was shot dead, along with his stepfather.   His mother was also shot, but survived the wound.   Can you imagine surviving a fatal robbery and not having your husband and son when you're released from the hospital?  This mother needs our prayers.

According to BlackChristianNews.com , a 37-year-old woman, who was Shivers’ wife and Owens’ mother, was also shot. She was treated and released from the hospital. Her name was not released, but Owens’ mother is listed as Chermaine Owens in the Arkansas State media guide.

Ohio Pastor Arrested in Philippines

Saints of God, we should pray for this Ohio pastor.  Pastor Tom Randall was arrested in the Philippines while doing missionary work there.  Allegedly, someone who was a part of the organization he was helping molested children and then, did sex trafficking.   We really feel in our spirit, the authorities in the Philippines arrested him, because he is serving Jesus Christ.  As you know, many people in foreign countries hate Christians.

According to Fox8.com, Coffey said Randall went to the Philippines on a mission to help with typhoon relief and to spend time with the kids at his orphanages, something he does for one month each year supported by local churches and his ministry called World Harvest.

We pray people who are connecting with Pastor Tom Randall's church in Ohio contact President Obama so he can meet with the authorities and politicians in the Philippines.  In the meantime, we will keep Pastor Tom Randall in our prayers.

Celebrity News: Former NFL Player Darren Sharper Arrested on Suspicion of Rape

Darren Sharper has been arrested for alleged rape.  Now, we do not know how true it is, but this former NFL celebrity is allegedly suspected of raping several women in the Los Angeles area.  It's very bad for Sharper to had once been very successful in sports, but now he could be convicted of rape. 

According to ktla.com, Sharper, a resident of Miami Beach, was arrested about 3 p.m., according to police and information posted on the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department website.

As an African American, maybe you cannot believe what you are seeing right now, but we know why whoever made this flyer think it's okay.   We are living in an era when we have so much diversity, what Dr. Martin Luther King died for, but many African Americans do not have respect for him.   We have equality to some degree, but many African Americans love the thug mentality while disrespecting themselves and each other.

Georgia Pastor Craig Lamar Davis Takes Witness Stand In HIV Trial

Saints of God, we don't know if you recall this Georgia pastor who infected a woman with HIV? Craig Lamar Davis is now standing trial for allegedly purposely infecting her with the virus.  What's even worse, at the time he was a married man.  We are so glad his wife is no longer with him, because in our opinion, she would have never known about him being infected had not Ronita McAfee turned him in.

According to BlackChristianNews.com, prosecutors said Davis, who is now divorced, was a married minister when he had an affair with two women and didn’t tell them he was HIV-positive. 

We are living in such a bad era and these cases just don't stop in the black church.

United Methodist Official Denies Church Fired Gay Choir Director for being gay

Gay choir directors go way back in the day, it's nothing new and we do not know why one would be fired in this age.   Although, we do agree with the Word of God it's wrong to be a homosexual, it's hard to believe one would actually lose their job as a choir director.   For many years, they have directed choirs, been musicians and even preachers.  However, maybe it is time to become strict and not necessarily fire them, but put them on the altar. 

According to ChristianPost.com, First UMC made national headlines when word got out that their gay choral director had not been rehired by the church's lead pastor.

Dozens of Gays Arrested in Nigeria Under Strict New Law

This Nigerian president is very serious on the law against homosexuality.  There are dozens of gays who have been arrested and he is not stopping it one bit.  As we asked you before, what do you think God has to say about this new law against sodomy?  Remember, yesterday, we gave you a report a man was whipped 20 times before the court, because he is gay?  Does God agree with this new strict law, saints of God? 

According to ChristianPost.com , Nigeria's controversial Same Sex Marriage Prohibition Act was signed by Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan on Jan. 7, reports The Associated Press, which obtained a copy of the document on Monday. Legislators from The Nigerian National Assembly signed off on the law on Dec. 17, though no announcement was made about it and the reason for such secrecy is unclear.  

We still agree with God's biblical commandments against homosexuality.  However, we ask you the question, how would it be in America, if it was against the law?

Alabama pastor accused of murdering wife wanted to marry boyfriend

Allegedly, Pastor Shahan killed his wife to marry his boyfriend.  Lust is a terrible thing.  Why couldn't this guy just divorce his wife and go live with his boyfriend.  It just does not make sense to kill someone, so you can start a new life with another person.  Now, of course, God does not like divorce, but he would rather that than murder. 

According to nydailynews.com, Shahan was placed on paid administrative leave from Birmingham’s First Baptist Church immediately after the brutal murder of his wife, Karen Louise Shahan. The woman was found stabbed to death in the couple’s Homewood, Ala., house on July 23.  

We certainly hope Shahan repents for this terrible crime.

Ken Hardcastle, Chuck Lawrence, and Bob Manley opened 
Hermit Woods in 2011. The winery makes a wide variety of traditional 
and non-traditional wines and meads from local fruit and honey, 
as well as a few select wines craftedfrom imported grapes.

With just hours left, Hermit Woods Winery received the necessary contributions to successfully fund their on-line Kickstarter Campaign. They had just 30 days to raise the $28,000 needed to complete their new tasting room at 72 Main Street, Meredith NH. By the end of their campaign, they had over 170 backers and raised $28,980.

“All of us here at Hermit Woods are so thankful for all the help we received andcannot thank our supporters enough for helping us make this happen” says Bob Manley, owner and partner.

With the added funds, work has begun on the final projects necessary to get their new tasting room open in the next few weeks. This father got very upset when he saw a youth pastor with his teenage daughter in his home.   You know, it's not many (black)father who will protect their daughters, some even disown them.   God is going to bless Jermaine Clemons for loving his daughter, but we are very sad he beat up the youth pastor.

Celebrity News: Toxicologist estimates ex-Cowboy Brent had 17 drinks night of fatal crash

Ex-Dallas Cowboy celebrity, Josh Brent allegedly is responsible for the crash that took his best-friend's life.   What's even worse, toxicologist allegedly estimated he had many drinks that very night of the fatal crash. 

According to WFAA.com, an accident investigator estimated the car was traveling 110 miles-per-hour in a 45 mph zone. Brent told police he was going 70.

Beloved sisters and brothers in Christ, this is the update, regarding the new Nigerian law.  Now, last we heard homosexuals would get up to 14 years in prison, allegedly, but we never knew they would be whipped for same sex relations.  The president of Nigeria (above photo) approves of the law, allegedly.

According to news.msn.com, activists believe the new law has whipped up homophobia and endangers gay people in a country where lynchings and mob justice are common.

What do you have to say about this saints of God?   Although, God's Word says it is wrong to be gay, does he approve of a homosexual being whipped in the court of law?

This great legend of WWE has passed away.  Mae Young was known as a professional wrestler from back in the 1940's, in an era when many women were not wrestlers.  Young remained active until her death, which helps one to live a long life. 

According to msn.foxsports.com, Young was reportedly hospitalized on Dec. 31, then moved to hospice care. Her death had been erroneously reported in the days after, and WWE did not give a cause of death.  

Mae Young's life should encourage the average woman who has given up.   This woman was great, because she became a part of something that was unheard of for women back in the day and she never quit.  Young never let age stop her dreams, which is a value for both men and women to possess.  May Mae Young rest in peace.

Teen Called to Preach early Sparks Debate About 'Needing a Degree to Preach God's Word'

Back in the day, before African Americans were equal within our society, the debate of a preacher needing a degree was not the subject in most households. If a man was called to preach God's Word, he heard the call and just did it.  Therefore, why is it a debate if one needs a degree to preach God's Word.  There are many preachers with a degree who are not called and need to do something else.

According to ChristianPost.com, the Atlanta teen, who has been helming his own ministry for six years (Jared Sawyer, Jr. Ministries), was ordained by leaders at Center Hill Baptist Church in northwest Atlanta on Sunday, in a moment his mother, Sabrina Sawyer, said she never thought would have been realized.

 Praise God for Jared Sawyer, we sincerely think this debate of whether he and others need a degree or not is just pure jealousy.

Update: California pastor arrested in plot to firebomb ex-girlfriend's house still leading church

This is an update, regarding Pastor Mark Lewis.   He is allegedly accused of getting three people to firebomb his ex-girlfriend's house.   Saints of God, we need to get back to having husbands and wives and not boyfriends and girlfriends.  Now, we do not know the history of their previous relationship, but it's doesn't sound right that this pastor would firebomb his ex-girlfriend's house.

According to nydailynews.com, but Nottingham says this is just another example of harassment from her ex-boyfriend she dumped last year. Police say she has filed a restraining order against Lewis and has been the victim of four incidents of vandalism - including her bushes being set on fire. She told police she believes Lewis is responsible for these acts.

We pray Pastor Mark Lewis has repented for his plot, since he is still leading his congregation.

Joel Osteen Twisted Confession on Larry King About Homosexuality

We could imagine Lakewood Church would be a place on fire for God right now, if another pastor was chosen to take John Osteen's place instead of Joel.  We say it, because Larry King interviewed Joel Osteen and he admitted he teaches homosexuality is a sin, but a lot of things he doesn't preach about, he does not understand.  

There's one thing to always remember, God has not called anyone into ministry who cannot give a straight answer. Whether we understand some things in God's Word or not, we do not have the right to choose what we will or will not preach about.  We must preach against all sin and accept it as wrong.  We don't care who doesn't like it or does not understand why God is against it.  

We pray that God removes Joel Osteen from the pulpit real soon, in our opinion, he is not straight forward enough to preach God's Word.  God wants someone who not be afraid to stand up for what right and against what is wrong.  We strongly feel Joel's ministry is the trick of the enemy for this age, which is confusing people.

Ariz. Pastor and Legislator Seeks Same-Sex Wedding Opt-Out for Religious Leaders

Speaker Pro Tempore, Montenegro is opting out of gay wedding ceremonies for religious leaders.  This is what we have been praying for, more pastors to be politicians, so things can rule in our favor. 

According to ChristianPost.com, the current Speaker Pro Tempore, Montenegro said that his work in ministry and conversations with different religious leaders in Ariz. influenced him to introduce the state's First Freedom Act.

Police Arrest US Street Preacher in Scotland for Calling Homosexuality a Sin

Ask yourself this question Saints of God, does homosexuality now rule all or most nations?  Is it so powerful that the majority of the world agrees with it, even in national governments.  This street preacher, Tony Milano from America went to Scotland to give a message to the people on the street that homosexuality is a sin and was arrested for it. 

According to ChristianPost.com, Milano's colleague, Pastor Josh Williamson of the Craigie Reformed Baptist Church in Perth, pointed out, "Tony wasn't focusing just on homosexual practice – it was about all sin."  

This is why we always tell you, we have no time for sophisticated conferences, but only revivals, so souls can be saved and fully cleansed from their sins.   We live in such a wicked world, it's time to get back to preaching complete holiness in the church.

Security Guard Stabbed at West Angeles Church of God in Christ

We can't believe a security guard was actually stabbed inside West Angeles COGIC in Los Angeles, California, then again, it does not surprise us.   Now, as you know that is the church home of Erving 'Magic' Johnson and his wife Cookie, Denzel Washington and even Samuel L. Jackson, allegedly.  It's very scary to admit, but has WESTA, (as they call it) become more of a place for celebrity events, rather than a place for repentance? 

Of course, celebrities need to be in a place of worship too, but back in the day, it was unheard of, for anything like a stabbing or a shooting to occur.  Therefore, what we are trying to say is, the anointing should be so strong at West Angeles COGIC, anyone would be afraid to harm a security guard or anyone else there.  Back in the early days of COGIC, for example in the 1970's and prior, there was complete division from the world that was taught from bishops, pastors and state mothers.  Nowadays, some of the elders have allowed their descendants to bring in such a worldly atmosphere, like hip hop gospel.  Just look at the Dorinda and her sister, Karen Clark Sheard and her daughter, for example, they are not allegedly representing true holiness, .  Therefore, if you allow carnality in God's House, then do not expect for the Devil to stay out of the church.  All type of violence will occur, just like what is in the night club.  Why?  Because they have allowed such an atmosphere to prevail in God's House.    We are not suppose to have worship services to please celebrities, but only please God.

In the meantime, we will keep this security guard in our prayers.

Update: Atheist Blogger's $3K Donation Finally Accepted by Food Pantry

If you recall, we did a previous article on this blogger who is an atheist.  We thought Hemant Mehta was rejected because the people over the food pantry had the fear of God, but obviously not, they have accepted his money.  One thing we can't stand are alleged Christians who seem strong at first, then give into to those who oppose Jesus Christ.  Possibly, we were mistaken, these are not Christians over this food pantry. 

According to ChristianPost.com , Before this week, Mehta's $3,000 donation was rejected by two other groups over the course of two months. Mehta first raised the money as a donation for the Morton Grove Park District, after the local chapter of the American Legion cut its annual $2,600 funding to the department because one of its commissioners, Dan Ashta, refused to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. The park district rejected Mehta's donation, which he had raised from donors online, saying that it did not want to accept the money and possibly become involved in a "First Amendment dispute." 

We'll keep you posted on any further information about this atheist giving funds to the food pantry.

Former pastor arrested in Shreveport, accused of child molestation

This former pastor of Missouri is the father of a convicted rapist, now he's accused of child molestation.   Rick Seaton, Sr. is the father offormer Shreveport Assistant Chief Administrative Officer Rick Seaton, Jr. who is now serving several years in prison.   This is so sad that this father and son seem to had been controlled by the demon of lust.

According to wafb.com, prosecutors there have filed 10 counts against 73-year-old Richard Seaton Sr., including statutory sodomy.   

In the meantime, we will keep Rick Seaton and his son in our prayers and sincerely hope they both get it right with God before it's everlasting too late.

Pastor of Vacaville arrested for arson of home

Pastor Mark Lewis and 3 other people have been arrested for arson of a Vacaville home.  What's even worse, allegedly there were 6 people inside.  Saints of God, we cannot believe a man of God's Word would be so vicious to plan such a crime. 

Pastors are supposed to be an example, not lead people to do wrong, neither are they supposed to be led by hoodlums to commit crime.

According to news10.net, Vacaville Police Sgt. Jeff King said officers got a call from someone at the home on Chateau Circle on Thursday around 3:30 a.m. reporting that a Molotov cocktail was thrown into the house.

In the meantime, we pray Pastor Lewis and all three others repent before it's everlasting too late.
