Once again, our friends at WMUR-TV asked viewers to pick their favorite farm stands in the New Hampshire... and our local places, as usual, rank among the best. Check it out here.
No. 8 is the Laconia Outdoor Market, which goes on every Saturday in the City Hall parking lot every Saturday, 8 a.m to noon. (We bought some deliciously rich lettuce and hearty bread from vendors there recently.)
No. 7 is the Tilton Farmers Market in the Tangers Outlets parking lot Fridays 3 to 7 p.m. (Drive back up into Sanbornton village and you should find some other farmers selling their name.)
