Dana Owens, Queen Latifah shares how her faith in God helped her through a few trials in her life.  We never knew Queen Latifah lost her brother and almost lost her friend when she was carjacked.   God really has been watching over her and this shows how real He is.

According to christianpost.com, after her brother's death, Owens invested herself in her work. She was dealt another emotional blow in 1995, however, when she became the victim of a carjacking and a close friend, who was with her in the car at the time, was shot and nearly died in front of her.  

In the meantime, we will keep Queen Latifah in our prayers.
