Fans of WMUR-TV recently picked the Top 10 places to get pancakes in New Hampshire.
And, guess what? Lakes Region restaurants are once again prominent.
.. And No. 6 is the family-owned seasonal Sanbornton legend. Most folks don't consider the summer complete unless they've been here at least once.
What's your favorite place? Have you tried the new Griddle in the Middle in Meredith? Does anyone serve a Sunday brunch comparable with the old Joann's of Tilton?
And, guess what? Lakes Region restaurants are once again prominent.
No 10 is a relatively new Belmont eatery at the corner of Routes 140 and 106. J&J's Yolk & Co. (AKA The Broken Yoke) is succeeding where a number of other places have tried but failed. (A problem could be the location: it's not at street level but "behind" the D&D convenience store and Brokside Pizza - worth the finding.)
