And so it goes.... As soon as the Columbus Day visitors are gone, the leaves start turning their lovely browns, golds and yellows. Unusually late - and somewhat muted since the recent inclement weather has already stripped some trees before we had the chance to see their vibrant metamorphosis.
And the "people" are now gone too - as the Lakes Region gets ready for its annual shift from summer paradise for thousands, to small-town Christmas fair and community events for the "rest of us."
Be sure and come back and visit soon. In some ways, it's the best time of the year - the quiet time of
colorful beauty and self-discovery.
